Lantech CM-021-GB II Gigabit converter can extend your network distance by converting UTP to Fiber long haul connection. It is backward compatible to 10/100TX as the UTP design is tri-speed.
Lantech CM-021-GB II supports Jumbo frame up to 9K byte on switching mode so it is suitable for the backbone connection where could have jumbo packets on the network.
The practical feature of LLF is essential for media converter to alert MIS about the one end connection lost. It will cut off transmission immediately when one end is disconnected.
New CM-021-GB II is designed with auto-mode on speed, half or full duplex detection and adapted to correspondent port for UTP and/or Fiber connection without manual setting.
Lantech CM-021-GB II can be plugged in Lantech 10-slot converter chassis for power redundancy and rack-mounting purpose. The 10-Slot chassis has hot-swappable design for our converter series.
